Bonjour again!
During the Abbey Road Program at Nice, not only did we traveled to all different places in Nice, but we also took day trips to nearby regions in Côte d'Azur, or French Riviera.
Usually on weekends, we traveled to different areas, including St. Jean Cap Ferrat, Cannes, St. Tropez, St. Paul de Vence, Antibes, Eze, Monaco, and more. One weekend we traveled to Sanremo Italy, as well.
The picturesque buildings and beautiful sceneries I encountered at each region are truly unforgettable.
My favorite place was St. Paul de Vence, the small walled village that was situated on top of a hill. The view of the village from all different angles was gorgeous. The narrow curvy streets of the village had small boutiques and gallerlies as well as numerous cafes and restaurants. At St. Paul de Vence, we also went to the Fondation Maeght Museum of Modern Art; I especially liked the museum, for it had a unique architecture - the museum had a small gardens that had different sculptures that mingled with the surroundings.
I enjoyed Côte d'Azur so much that I even wanted to permanently live there! :)
